CT Wilson is the founder and driving force behind the Strategic Policy Group, a consulting firm committed to providing expert guidance in energy policy, legislative strategy, and advocacy. With a remarkable career in public service, law, and leadership, Wilson has established himself as a trusted advisor and champion for innovative, community-driven policy solutions.
Wilson’s public service career is highlighted by his tenure in the Maryland House of Delegates, where he served as Chair of the Economic Matters Committee, House Chair of the Maryland Veterans’ Caucus, and Chair of the Southern Maryland Delegation. His extensive committee work includes the Legislative Policy Committee, Rules and Executive Nominations Committee, and numerous subcommittees on business regulation, cybersecurity, consumer protection, and public safety. As Chair of the Business Implementation Subcommittee within the House Cannabis Referendum and Legalization Workgroup, Wilson played a pivotal role in shaping critical legislation.
A U.S. Army veteran (1990–1997), Wilson earned a B.S. in Psychology (cum laude) from Upper Iowa University and a J.D. from Howard University School of Law. His legal career includes serving as Division Chief of the Community Prosecution Unit for the Prince George’s County State's Attorney’s Office and leading his own law practice. Beyond his professional achievements, Wilson is deeply committed to supporting foster care youth and veterans, serving on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Foster Youth Resource Center and as a member of the Maryland Military Installation Caucus. An accomplished author of 10,000 Hills: A Little Boy’s Journey (2014), Wilson is a proud husband and father of three, dedicated to advancing equitable policies and fostering sustainable growth through visionary leadership.
